How Power Hour Classes Work
Students will meet one-on-one (1:1) online via Zoom conferencing for 60 minutes with a live instructor. After you have paid at checkout, you will receive an email within one business day to verify technical requirements and schedule your session at a convenient time with an instructor. Customers love this simple and easy process because it avoids the back-and-forth of emails trying to set up appointments.
Instructors will quickly assess the student’s learning needs and set the pace necessary to achieve the desired results. Students will get the attention and support in the selected subject and be shown ways of applying their knowledge to real-life scenarios.
After the session, students will be directed to additional resources to support their learning journey. No refund or rescheduling permitted once a booking is confirmed.

This 60 minute intensive course will sharpen the student’s understanding of base 10 number system and basic arithmetic.
Calculating Slopes
Learn how to use the slope formula and calculate the slope by identifying 2 points on a line graph as well as steepness of a line, how fast a line rises or falls, and evaluate ratios in the change in the y-values vs. the change in the x-values.
Angles
This 60 minute live instruction course reviews what an angle is and how to describe, label, and measure them as well as the use of the Pythagorean Theorem formula to solve the missing side of a right triangle.
Shape Shifters
Students will practice their ability to recognize and describe 2D and 3D shapes which is a fundamental skill that provides a foundation for more advanced math skills.

Yes, we provide most of the academic materials needed. We’ll send them to you directly via digital downloadable access. The amount and type of materials varies by grade and course. However, you may need to provide supplies such as pencil and paper.

How do I decide which course to book first?
Before choosing a course, here’s what you should do. Look at your child’s current assessment results and book according to their worst or best subject area. Our educators are flexible enough to meet students where they are in any given subject.
